Starting at $19.99 for their America’s Top 60 plan all the way to their America’s “Everything” Pak at 74.99, DISH Network has an affordable programming package for everyone. Local channels only cost $5 a month, which is the industry standard price. But, where DISH Network excels is in the start-up cost. They have two options for people living in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. FREE-FOR-ALL: You buy the equipment up front, but receive monthly credits making the system free after a period ranging from 1-2 years. Installation is free for up to two televisions. In a 2004 poll by J.D. Power and Associates, DISH Network ranked #1 in in Customer Satisfaction among Cable/Satellite TV Subscribers. They offer a full online customer support center including tech support, billing, programming changes, and FAQs. By phone, DISH Network is available 24-hours-a-day everyday of the year. When comparing satellite and cable companies, DISH Network ranks near the top in all categories from local channels to HD-programming to customer care.
